Mordenite snowballs on matrix are rare, naturally forming clusters of soft, cottony white mordenite perched on their original host rock. These rounded "snowball" formations occur when fine, fibrous mordenite crystals grow outward in spherical patterns, a structure that makes high-quality pieces both uncommon and highly collectible.
