Malachite is a vibrant green copper mineral prized for thousands of years in jewelry, art, and ceremonial objects, with mining evidence dating back to 6000 BC in ancient Egypt. Its distinctive banded patterns form through layers of copper carbonate, giving each piece a one-of-a-kind look. Malachite is a soft stone, so it can be scratched easily and should be handled gently. Metaphysically, it is known as a powerful protection and transformation stone, used to absorb negativity, support emotional healing, and encourage confident, heart-led change.

Very large carved malachite specimens are exceptionally rare because malachite typically forms in smaller botryoidal or banded structures that limit the size of stable, high-quality pieces. Large deposits without cracks, pits, or structural weakness are uncommon, and most sizeable malachite masses fracture during extraction due to the mineral's softness and natural layering. To carve a piece of significant size, the raw malachite must not only be unusually large but also dense, clean, and structurally sound enough to withstand shaping and polishing without breaking. This combination of size, integrity, and visual quality is extremely rare, which is why substantial carved malachite pieces are considered premium collector items and command higher value.

Crystals are naturally unique, which means no two pieces are exactly alike. The photos shown are examples of the available pieces. When you purchase a quantity of 1, you will receive one crystal. Size, colour, and shape may vary from the images provided.

If the option you select is a number (for example, 111), you will receive one crystal at that price point. Variations in colour and shape are expected, but quality and value are always consistent. It is very unlikely that staff can provide the exact crystal shown in the example photo. Please do not request this.

If you select an option that is a letter (for example, A), you will receive the exact crystal shown in the photo.
