Goethite often forms dark, velvety clusters that look like ripe golden grapes. At times, its surface has shifting, oily sheens that catch the light in surprising ways. Its color is the deep ochre seen in ancient cave paintings and is the same mineral that gives Mars its red glow. Goethite is said to hold space for grief, change, and the quiet process of becoming, gently revealing the silver thread hidden within it all.
