Hematite and calcite occur in both studied sources; chlorite is documented in China, with goethite, dolomite, barite, and pyrite in Namibia. Modern crystal practice pairs it with courage, intuition, and focus.

Gem-quality pietersite is reported from only two source areas, Namibia and Henan, China, so its limited distribution supports an uncommon classification.

Well-preserved blue fibres are uncommon and hazardous, so intact material and controlled handling matter.
