Herkimer diamonds with inclusions are a rare and highly collectible form of double-terminated quartz that naturally develops inside ancient dolomite cavities in Herkimer County, New York. Like all Herkimers, they are exceptionally clear, hard, and naturally formed, with an 18-sided, double-terminated structure, but these special pieces contain natural inclusions such as fluid-filled pockets, wispy veils, or tiny black carbon specks that were trapped as the crystal grew. These inclusions are uncommon, making each crystal even more unique and scientifically fascinating. Metaphysically, Herkimer diamonds are used for amplified intention, deep intuitive insight, dream clarity, and energy purification, combining the high frequency of Herkimer quartz with the grounding and ancient wisdom carried within their inclusions.
