Marialite (Purple Scapolite)
Named after Maria Rosa von Rath, the wife of the discoverer, it holds a love story in its name. It clears the mind like a veil lifting, leaving behind a steady, intuitive sense of knowing.
Marialite is rare because it forms only when nature achieves a very specific chemical balance. While scapolite is fairly common, true marialite is the sodium-rich end of the spectrum and needs an unusual environment rich in sodium and chlorine but very low in calcium. It also depends on chlorine being trapped under high pressure at the right moment, and even then, marialite is only stable within a narrow range of conditions.
As rocks shift and rise, much of it breaks down into more common minerals or fractures under pressure release, making genuine, high-quality marialite far harder to find.
Taurus and Libra zodiac energy.
Ruled by Neptune and the Moon.
Third Eye (Intuition) chakra.
This material is UV-reactive and phosphorescent.
