Larimar has a luminous, ocean-washed blue that feels like sunlight rippling across the Caribbean seabed, soft white currents moving through it like tide and sky meeting. Found only in a single square kilometre of the Dominican Republic, this stone is as uncommon as it is dreamlike, formed deep within volcanic earth where heat and water once moved together. There's a quiet myth woven through it too, a lingering whisper of Atlantis, something ancient, submerged, and still shining.

Kenna loves larimar for its cooling, calming presence, a crystal that softens sharp edges and settles the heart. It eases tension, quiets temper, and opens space for honest, heart-felt communication. Larimar is an exceptionally rare gemstone found only in the Dominican Republic, in a single small deposit on the mountainside of Los Chupaderos in the Sierra de Bahoruco mountain range of the Barahona Province. Its famous Caribbean blue colour comes from copper within this unique volcanic formation, which has not been found anywhere else in the world. Because larimar is mined by hand through steep, rugged tunnels, each piece reflects intensive labour, natural scarcity, and a supply that is both limited and finite.
